Frequently Asked Questions

Our Tandoori Whole Chicken showcases authentic clay oven cooking perfected over 30 years. Each 1.35kg chicken is marinated in our signature yoghurt and spice blend, then roasted in our traditional tandoor at high temperatures.

The tandoor’s intense heat creates that distinctive golden-red exterior and incredibly moist interior that’s impossible to replicate in conventional ovens. The result is tender, flavourful chicken with a subtle smokiness.

The Presentation:
Dressed with our homemade chicken kheema gravy – a rich, spiced minced chicken sauce that keeps every bite moist and flavourful. Completed with perfectly spiced egg garnish for a stunning table centrepiece.

Perfect For:

  • Family dinners and casual gatherings
  • Weeknight meals when you want something special
  • Entertaining without the cooking stress
  • Anyone who loves authentic tandoori flavours

Serves 4 people as a generous main course.

We visited this restaurant as a group of three. Overall, it was a good experience. The food was tasty and the portion sizes were reasonable. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable for a casual meal. Service was friendly, although it took a little time for the food to arrive. Nothing major to complain about, but there is still a little room for improvement. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would consider coming back again.

Shout out to Abhay Jani and Kamal for delivering great customer service, very hard working and lovely. Will be back soon again! We also got mains but forgot to take pictures. We ordered the whole chicken and lamb leg 24 hours In advance stating our preference of spice level and we were all so impressed with the chicken as the spice level was exactly as I requested and a straight 10 no questions. The lamb as always was fantastic but my stated preferred spice option was not so perfect if compared to the chicken but an undisputed 9, fantastic as always.

This was my first time dining in a setting like this, and I really enjoyed the homely, warm atmosphere. The restaurant felt inviting from the moment we arrived, and we were shown to our table quickly. Booking in advance is definitely recommended, as the venue is often fully booked and can get quite busy. Despite being a full house — with a lively crowd of mostly male patrons cheering on a football match shown on large screens — the noise level was surprisingly manageable and didn’t detract from the overall dining experience. The food itself was well prepared. While the dishes were a little too spicy for my personal taste, my husband thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine. The meat was succulent and cooked well, and the butter naan was exactly how I like it — soft, fluffy, and fresh. Our waiter recommended the passion fruit gelato for dessert. Unfortunately, this was the only letdown, as it didn’t taste very authentic and left a slightly artificial aftertaste. Aside from that, the rest of the meal was enjoyable. Service was attentive throughout the evening, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Parking is limited, so it’s worth allowing extra time when arriving. Overall, Regency Club offers a warm atmosphere, generous portions, and flavourful Indian cuisine, making it a great spot for group dining or sports nights — just be prepared for bold spice levels and limited parking.
