Frequently Asked Questions

Our Slow-Cooked Leg of Lamb celebrates patience and traditional cooking techniques. This 2.4kg lamb joint is slow-cooked for 4-6 hours at low temperatures, transforming it into meat so tender it falls off the bone.

The Slow-Cooking Process:
We start with carefully selected lamb, seasoned with our signature spice blend. The gentle, patient cooking breaks down connective tissues whilst allowing spices to penetrate deep into the meat, ensuring every bite is packed with authentic flavour.

The Accompaniments:
Dressed with our signature kheema gravy – a rich, spiced minced meat sauce that adds depth and keeps every bite succulent. Garnished with perfectly spiced potatoes for textural variety and a complete, show-stopping centrepiece.

Microwave Method (Quick):

  1. Transfer lamb and gravy to large microwave-safe dish

  4. Stir gravy carefully halfway through
  5. Ensure piping hot throughout before serving
  6. Let stand 2-3 minutes before serving

Temperature Check:

We dined at The Regency Club a few weeks ago and had an outstanding experience. The food here is truly exceptional — easily some of the best Indian cuisine we’ve had. We regularly travel over an hour just to eat here, and it is absolutely worth it every time. The quality and consistency of the food keep us coming back again and again. Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are excellent, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The mogo is a particular favourite of ours, and the kebabs are always perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The chicken dishes are consistently delicious, and the mango lassi is also fantastic. Overall, a top-quality restaurant that we would highly recommend. We will definitely continue returning.

Loved the chicken wings, the chilli paneer was tasty without being overloaded with onions and peppers. The garlic butter chicken was awesome. Wasn't keen on the pulao (looked like khichdi) or the masala paneer (tasteless and too mild). Wish they would supply wet wipes at the end of the meal or with their wings. Would have loved to see a falooda and a few shakes on the menu. I still highly recommend the place.

The Regency Club is a great spot if you’re after quality food and a lively atmosphere. The Karahi Methi Chicken, Karahi Kheema, and Paneer Masala were all great dishes—rich, flavourful, and clearly well-prepared. The starters were just as impressive, making it hard to pick a favourite. The naans were soft, fluffy, and delicious, though they did feel a bit pricey for the portion size. Still, they complemented the mains really well. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming overall, though it was a bit of a shame that football was playing on every TV, which took away slightly from the dining experience. I'm not a footy fan! All in all, a place I’d definitely go back to for the food alone.

First time visiting this Indian restaurant. Excellent service and helpful waiter. Proper bar and large beer selection. Large menu and prices seem high but the portions were big! We all went home with leftovera. We enjoyed the crispy okra and chicken wings. Excellent chicken curry dishes and a tasty lamb biryani. We were impressed and we're a hard bunch to please. We had a coeliac in our group and they had a separate menu so she felt safe with her choices. We were a little confused as to why they didn't merge the 2 menus and label clearly as she had different smaller starter options on her menu. We were stuffed but managed a mango ice cream between 7 of to finish, also good. We'll be back.

Had dinner at the The Regency Club and this place absolutely delivers. The atmosphere is lively, energetic, and packed with good vibes. Service was outstanding, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. We started with lamb cutlets and tandoori wings, both were excellent and set the tone. There was about a one-hour gap before the mains arrived, which normally would be an issue. But two things stood out: 1. The staff handled it well and apologized multiple times 2. Once the food hit the table, it completely justified the wait The mains were exceptional. Easily some of the best Indian food I’ve had. Deep flavor, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with care. Every dish hit. By the end of the meal, the delay didn’t matter. The quality of the food completely overshadowed it. If you’re anywhere near London and want top-tier Indian food, this place is absolutely worth it.

Always great service and great food. As an allergy sufferer (coeliac, gluten free) it’s great to see a gluten free menu AND to have the team come up to me at my order to confirm that xyz was fried in the same oil as other items and is that still okay. Grateful for the care. Thanks Regency Club!
